Kingdom Hearts series of video games takes place in an unnamed outer space-like universe where numerous self-contained worlds exist (based on Disney's movies, and other Square-Enix games, such as Final Fantasy. Square Enix included original worlds over the course of the series, too). The series' director is Tetsuya Nemura. These center around Sora's (the main character) search for his friends and his encounters with Disney and Final Fantasy characters on their worlds. The first game, takes him through each world to lock their keyholes and prevent the Heartless from destroying them. In the Game Boy Advance sequel Kingdom Hearts: Chain Of Memories (with a recent remake for the Play Station 2, named Kingdom Hearts: Re: Chain Of Memories, where we can also play as Riku), taking place in Castle Oblivion, he revisits memory-based versions of many of these worlds. In Kingdom Hearts 2, Sora helps the residents of these worlds again in search of his friend Riku.

Worlds are disconnected from each other and with a few exceptions, most characters in the worlds are unaware of the existence of the other worlds. Worlds are made up of interconnected field maps where battles and events take place. To travel across the worlds, Sora and friends use the Gummi Ship.

An important theme, the essence of the Kingdom Hearts series, is precisely the heart, centring specially on the strength and connections of the heart. In this universe, beings are composed of three parts: body, soul and heart. The body is a vessel for the heart and soul, and the soul gives life to the body. The heart gives a being emotions, light, and darkness, but there're exceptions, for example, the seven Princesses of Heart, who possess no darkness in their hearts. When a being's heart is consumed by darkness, it is corrupted, and turns it into a Heartless. A Nobody is created from the remaining body and soul. The "heart of all worlds" and the source of hearts is "Kingdom Hearts". An object of immense power, it is desired by many forces of darkness and a path to it is opened by the gathering of the Princesses of Heart. It is the heart-shaped moon, which is, technically, the representative symbol of the Kingdom Hearts series:

The Kingdom Hearts universe is divided into planes of existence called "realms". The realm where most of the worlds of the series are, is the realm of light. Opposite to the realm of light is the realm of darkness, were the Kingdom Hearts resides. There's an in-between realm, too, a place where Nobodies, and the worlds they reside in, come to existence. There are four worlds that are known to be found exclusively within the in-between realm. Each world found within this in-between place is tied more closely to either the realm of light or the realm of darkness by varying degrees. And as well as these known realms, there is a realm of nothingness, where Ansem the Wise was banished to, which he described as "a place where all existance has been desintegrated".

Okay, now, let's speak on the beings who inhabit the Kingdom Hearts Universe, beginning with the Heartless.

Heartless are hearts corrupted by darkness, lacking a body or soul, that commonly have bright yellow eyes and dark colors. These "creatures" are the most common type of enemies that you'll face in the Kingdom Hearts games. All Heartless are categorized by two kinds: Pureblood or Emblem. Pureblood Heartless are creatures that were "born" from hearts that were corrupted by pure darkness (a "Shadow" is the most common type of Pureblood Heartless, and, in fact, the most common type of all Heartless), whereas Emblem Heartless were artificially created, and have the Heartless insignia, which is a heart symbol with a thorny cross. Heartless obey those with strong will; however, in worlds closer to darkness, the Heartless get stronger and become uncontrollable. They invade other worlds through corridors of darkness, which are unpredictables pathways that interlink the many worlds that exist. The image shows a Shadow Heartless.

For those who have not played the series already, a Nobody is a being without heart; they are commonly white or grey-colored... and some blue >lol<. They are leftovers "born" in the in-between realm, and exist as the body and soul of people who lost their hearts to darkness. Unlike Heartless, Nobodies are capable of creating a definite plan. There're many kinds, but the most common is the "Dusk". The Organization XIII members are the most powerful Nobodies that exist, due to the strong hearts that they had when they where "whole". Because of this, they kept human form, instead of the weaker ones, that assumed malformed, inhuman forms. Actually, most members of the Organization control a type of Nobody, suited to their fighting style. All Nobodies have an insignia, too: an upside-down, incomplete heart, specially designed to look like a splintered heart. The image shows a Dusk Nobodie.

Unbirths are a third type of creature which will appear in Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. They prominently feature the color blue and bright red eyes, and will be the 'main' enemies of this upcoming game. The series creator, Tetsuya Nomura, has made some facts known: they are connected with the Heartless and the Nobodies, and they are, in essence, the opposite of the human life. Several types of Unbirth have been shown, including a small, skinny creature, blue in color, and a large creature also colored blue. They all seem to have large, zig-zagging antennae/ears. There are flower-like that look like potted flowers with vines for arms that seems to spin like a top, and pot-like that are simply red pots with bat wings. Also, there are raven-like Unbirths and some others that are reminiscent to boots. A rabbit-like Unbirth is also shown, with long floppy ears and tiny, stubby legs. New Zelda Announced!!

As we all know, the E3 has already passed about a month ago, and there, Nintendo announced sequels to some games such as Metroid or Mario Galaxy, and also talked about more gameplay for the new Spirit Tracks, from The Legend of Zelda series, for the Nintendo DS, but! this is not the New Zelda game that I am talking about.

The marvelous and legendary Shigeru Miyamoto, for those who don't know yet, confirmed that a new The Legend of Zelda game for the Wii console is in the making!! It's is a completely new project, so, there're no previews for this game yet, except for an image of the artwork of the game, that shows it very similar to Twilight Princess' artwork. There we can see (as you can see in the image) Link holding only a shield (as Miyamoto-san makes us notice in an interview with Nintendo Power), and, also, we can see that the girl reminds us to the Master Sword, as many fans say, and this makes us think sooo much about the story of this game.

Shigeru Miyamoto said also via interview that if he has his way, this game will definitely involve the new Wii MotionPlus technology, which can be used to completely simulate a real sword. The battles will definitely be more exciting!! He also said in the interview with Nintendo Power that the game is not going to be radically different from Twilight Princess, the differences of this would be based on the fact that this game will be only for the Wii console. Yeah... The King's Dead

(I know, some time has passed already since Michael Jackson died, but I haven't had time to write about it, and since he will always be my favourite single artist, my first post had to be about him, so... here it goes)

As we all know, Michael Jackson created a style, many artists that came after him were influenced by this style, for example, when making an amazing choreography for their musical videos. No one else has given more donations to more organizations than him, according to what I know. We who admire him are going to miss him so much, and I feel really sad, for i wanted to go to one of his concerts someday.

Supposedly, there were videos that proved Michael Jackson's pedophilia, but I have not seen any, and I do not know anybody who has, so, I won't believe it. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'd like to continue believing in his innocence. I may be fool, but I grew with Michael Jackson's music; thanks to my dad, I have been his fan since very young, and though always I heard people talking about his pedophilia, I never got scared, in spite of being a kid (and not because I did not understand what they were talking about, since my aunts -which never liked him, use to always say to me that he was a bad person, and things like that), because his music always fascinated me. His first song that I listened to was "Smooth Criminal", and always I have loved this song. When I grew, I started to like his music more, and also did my younger brother.

I found out about his death the same day that he died. I was looking for some interesting program, and while I was looking for it, I managed to see in one of the channels a note that said Michael Jackson dead or something like that, i don't remember very well. Immediately I return to that channel, which turned out to be CNN. Yep, Michael Jackson was dead. The first thing I said, before thinking about it, was "oh, my god..." and then I shouted to my mother "MOM!!! MICHAEL JACKSON IS DEAD!!", then I ran to my brother's room (he was sleeping, by the way), and I shouted the same thing to him (he wispered something like "hmmm" and got back to sleep... now that I think about it, all that was very funny), then I went back to the living room, to continue watching the news. I called my dad then, and he told me "really? wow, that's so bad...". I did not cried, hehe, but I felt the urge to do it for a moment. Right now I already overcame it a bit >lol<, but it is still being very sad for me. Well, I'll look after my Michael Jackson discs more now >lol again<, since they're all original, and it was very hard for me to get them, ho ho.

Besides all this, I agree with all who say that he completely destroyed his face, if it was his decision whether or not. If he wanted to change it, he was perfect as he was when his song "Black or White" went out. Many say that he may be "pretending" being dead, or something like that, but, we will not know any more of him as before, and that itself, whether he's dead or not, makes us feel sad.

One real thing is that, since (mentioning only this, and I think that I don't have to say more, actually) "Thriller" is the most sold music disc ever, Michael Jackson is, and will always be a legend, and I think that he will be never forgotten.
